Laura Marling Music

Laura Marling is the hugely gifted singer songwriter from Reading, England. The earliest song Failure was composed at 14 and by the time she was 17 a major label, Virgin, had taken notice and signed her up. In February 2008 the debut album Alas I Cannot Swim was released to great acclaim and received a nomination for the Mercury prize.

Laura has finished recording the second album and is now playing a solo tour. The new album provisionally titled I Speak Because I Can will arrive March 2010. But before that the Christmas single and album track Goodbye England (Covered In Snow) is coming out on the 14th December.
